Experience
Tutored other students at Joliet Junior College and Olivet Nazarene University in Accounting, Finance, Math and Music. After a few days I was helping students where their accounting classes were ahead of the ones I was taking. Everyone would send someone to me when they needed help with their accounting, finance or math classes as well as the Chemistry and other classes that I was taking at the time. Took between 22 and 29 semester hours while helping other students and taking care of my husband and 4 children and also participating in other projects and jobs at the schools. Headed up the Volunteer Income Tax Program my senior year. Our unit was the only one in the state to submit all of the tax forms with 100% accuracy that year. I often had my class assignments completed well ahead of time while being able to tutor others and help them understand the complicated accounting and math problems.
